Getting to know Asher Roth...

...up and coming as one of the most normal hip hop artists yet.

Keep an ear out for "I Love College" and pick up his album "Asleep in the Bread Aisle" on April 20th.

Have no fear...

...Tha Hip Hop Doc is here!

A few years ago, a doctor named Rani Whitfield was looking for a way to educate minorities about the importance of cardiovascular health.

So Rani did what ANY doctor in his position would do and started rapping?

Now he creates HIP-HOP songs, under the alias "Tha Hip-Hip Doc", about conditions like obesity and heart disease in an attempt to reach the black community and have, quote, "some positive influence on it."

When you think "doctor" you likely can't imagine that nice white haired man you've gone to since you were 5 breaking out the beats, which is understandable. But this dude...is much the opposite of that!

I fully encourage you take a listen at: http://www.h2doc.com

Jaoquin Phoenix: Movie star turned...

...hip hop artist?

Sort of and apparently despite rumors that it's all a publicity stunt for him (cause he really needs or even wants more publicity?), he says it's all true. To top it off he'll be working with P. Diddy on his first album...oh boy.

Take a look at his first "performance."

And now see him almost falling off the stage...though in response to people thinking that he said, “you’re up on this little platform, there’s f**king lights everywhere, right in your eyes, flashing at you like that, and everything is dark, and I literally just went to step off the thing and misjudged and slipped down. I wasn’t f**ked up.”

Uuh...right.
