Nirvana: Live at Reading

November 10th we'll see the release of Nirvana Live at Reading on CD, vinyl and DVD.

This was one of the band's most legendary performances for the fact that Kurt rolled himself out in a wheelchair to challenge rumor of his health failing and the band breaking up.

It's been at the Chicago Field Museum since 1988, but only recently has this 3000 year old limestone Egyptian bust has started drawing attention. Why?! Isn't it obvious?!?! It's the dead ringer for Micheal Jackson's face!

It even has the disfigured nose!!!!!

Unfortunately the bust, which was carved sometime between 1550 B.C. and 1050 B.C., is of a woman and MJ likely never had the chance to see the statuette.

The Pharaoh of Pop doesn’t quite have the same ring to it as King of Pop!!! lol

A 5-year-old body builder?

He isn't actually one yet, but the family of Giuliano Stroe might as well start labelling him as such!


He's been training with his father since he was at least two years old, recently got into the Guinness Book of Records for the fastest 10 meter hand walk with a weight ball between his legs and I think it could go one of two ways from here.

If he keeps up with training, he's got a sculpted life ahead of him. If not, I sense confidence issues and maybe some father son clashing on the way!

Late last week, a VERY DRUNK guy walked into a convenience store and TRIED to buy some beer!! TRIED!! He really worked hard at it!! All I could think about while watching was "OMG! Ok, so now that the H1N1 flu clinics are open here in Winnipeg...there are ALOT of people who are choosing not to get the shot, and while I believe that getting it or not is your absolute choice....but PLEASE PLEASE base your decision on REAL MEDICAL FACTS...not just hearsay from a random internet site or third person information..

You may be suprised to find that one of the things that you are afraid of, is in fact a myth that can be dispelled by doing a little research. I have included some links including a FAQ section from Public Health Canada which has a bit of a myth busting section...along with some links to the Center for Disease Control and the WHO and their research and findings on the H1N1 shot.

Please do youself and the rest of the vunerable people in our country a favor and make and INFORMED decision, whatever that may be.

Weezer is known for its eccentric videos and this new one for their I Want You To single is no different!! The clip, shot by 500 Days Of Summer director Marc Webb, takes place in the town of Weezerville -- where all the residents look suspiciously like members of the band. All goes haywire when the conformist, 1950s vibe is shattered by the arrival of a bombshell (played by Cloverfield star Odette Yustman). That's when the men of Weezerville go a little mad and shoot arrows at each other, drive trucks over each other and wield chainsaws in their quest to get the girl.

Who needs a Swine Flu needle when you have...

...the SWINE FLU SUIT!?



Looks like just a regular suit, but it's actually coated with a chemical typically used in toothpaste and cosmetics called Titanium Dioxide. When Titanium Dioxide comes into contact with the H1N1 virus, it breaks it down and KILLS it.

Kind of scary considering this chemical is something we put in our systems and (the ladies) put on their faces every day, but anything to avoid that needle I'm okay with!
