Autotune...The Animal Edition

If you think you can’t sing, may want to try autotune! We know this has helped out more than a few artists and bands, but now it's shown up in the animal world!

If it can make the dog’s howl actually sound musical...you’ve got nothing to lose.

Happy 50th Anniversary to The Flintstones!!

This is a pretty significant milstone to reach considering the show only aired for 6 seasons back in the 60’s! This, of course, is leaving out the multiple TV specials and movies, but there’s nothing like the original episodes still airing on Retro Teletoon!

While this could be a good way to kick back and celebrate after work, so is checking out the Wackiest Bedrock Inventions! Personal favourites have to be that famous Peddle Car of Fred's, The Lobster Lawn Mower and The Warthhog Garbage Grinder, but check out the link to see them all!

Try Out For a Hockey Movie Today!

The hockey movie Goon, starring Seann William Scott is looking for a few good hockey players.

The guy who directed Fubar II is directing this one as well.

The movie needs guys between 18 to 40 with hockey experience at River Heights Community Centre today from noon to 2 p.m.

Each hockey player is required to be there for approximately one hour and bring full gear.

It is a paid position. Potential extras do not have to be pro but they do need to know hockey basics.

Applicants are asked to email Trish at nextcasting@mts.net

Don’t feel bad for the winner turned loser, though, she still scored a trip to New York and $25,000 for the blunder! I'd take that cash or even a bit less to be knocked down on TV!

Sesame Street Has Never Been So Popular.

As the musical guest on last night's Saturday Night Live, Katy Perry got the chance to make fun of the controversy surrounding her now-banned appearance on Sesame Street. Also, Amy Poehler hosted. And it was great having her back - along with cameos from Maya Rudolph, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey and the one and only Justin Timberlake.

Watch Katy's skit here!

Katy Perry not gonna make it to Sesame Street

Katy Perry to HAWT for TV!

The song made its way to YouTube Monday and racked up nearly a million views. But some parents started complaining her cleavage was too front and center. Producers have decided not to air the song on the show.

Will The Real Joaquin Phoenix Please Stand Up?

We've been asking that for almost two years, but after some time "away", he returned in all his handsomeness to visit David Letterman and clear up a few things:

The Zombies Are Coming...

...and you could be one of them thanks to the Winnipeg Zombie Walk Photoshoot!

The actual walk goes down October 23rd, but organizers want to get the word out there early with hopes of at least 50 zombies showing up in the Royal Albert Parking lot on the 3rd. Following that it’s off to a rented warehouse just down the street for a second shoot.

Want to get on the RSVP list for one or both now, get to the event's Facebook page HERE.

"The Situation" Certainly Is That

Sure he's still got the rock hard body and $100,000’s coming in, but can all that make up for the disaster he is on Dancing with the Stars?:

What Is The Meaning Of Life?

If you answered something similar to our friend above or a simple "I don't know"...so did everyone else!

That's the number 1 unanswered question of the past decade on Ask.com (formerly Ask Jeeves). Ths rest are as follows:

2. Is there a God?
3. Do blondes have more fun?
4. What is the best diet?
5. Is there anybody out there?
6. Who is the most famous person in the world?
7. What is love?
8. What is the secret to happiness?
9. Did TONY SOPRANO die?
10. How long will I live?

While these remain a mystery, at least we can finally answer “Is there an answer for everything?” with a big ‘ol NO.

Is 'I'm Still Here: The Lost Years of Joaquin Phoenix' A Hoax?

NOPE! At least according to director Casey Affleck! He says the movie about the actor’s attempt to become a rapper being a hoax never even entered into his consciousness until other people began to talk about the movie!

I was positive it was all fake...until I saw a few clips, including this:

Seems pretty real to me...

R.I.P. Rich Cronin

At the age of 35, we've lost one of the...in my opinion...cutest faces in pop music, Rich Cronin. The LFO singer was diagnosed with Leukemia a few years back and was in remission until passing away from a stroke yesterday afternoon.

Ahhh the memories...

Lady Gaga vs. PETA

Yes you are seeing correctly...she's wearing a raw meat bikini!

With that PETA has released, "no matter how beautifully it is presented, flesh from a tortured animal is flesh from a tortured animal. Meat represents bloody violence and suffering, so if that's the look they were going for, they achieved it."

"Oh, Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body."

I can't say I fully agree with the IN part...but on? Yeah...even with Lady Gaga's ecclectic looks, raw meat's a bit much.

You're Sick With WHAT?!

Not what you think, I guarantee that!

These are the most commonly mistaken illnesses...when self-diagnosed online:

1 - FOOD POISONING is usually just a regular upset stomach
2 - FOOD POISONING can also just be a regular hangover
3 - THE FLU is usually just a cold
4 - A MIGRAINE is usually just a headache
5 - But A BRAIN TUMOR is usually just a migraine
6 - APPENDICITIS is usually just normal lower stomach pain.
7 - ARTHRITIS is usually just stiff joints
8 - LUNG DISEASE is usually just shortness of breath
9 - KIDNEY DISEASE is usually just a lower back ache
10 - A HEART ATTACK is usually just indigestion

Stay healthy...really and theoretically speaking!

The Most Germs Are Found WHERE?!

These places aren't really the surprising, but just how gross they are...is:

1 - PUBLIC MAGAZINES: Those in waiting rooms, on airplanes and at libraries get passed around through tons of people's unwashed hands. Since they've got dry surfaces, bacteria like E. coli can survive on them for months.

2 - OFFICE KEYBOARDS: Your keyboard generally has about five times more germs than a public toilet set since the little gaps between the keys are the perfect place for bacteria to live and grow.

3 - THE GYM: A study found bacteria that could cause the cold virus on 73% of weights and 51% of aerobic equipment at the gym.

4 - SHOPPING CARTS: A study found that two out of every three shopping cart handles were contaminated with fecal.bacteria...all more the reason to send someone else to pick up dinner?

5 - SUBWAY POLES: Basically, any surface you touch on public transportation is completely covered in germs and bacteria. Of all the things on this list, these are the MOST infected surfaces of all.

Now go wash you hands...eight times.
