HAVE you ever been accused of being stuck in the '70s, fashion-wise?

That could work to your advantage, if you want to get some face time on the CBC miniseries Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story, which will be shooting in Selkirk on Sunday, May 31, and Brandon on Sunday, June 14.

This weekend, the Selkirk Recreation Complex will be used to replicate an AHL game from 1973. Volunteer extras will be asked to sport the kind of fashion worn on TV series such as The Mary Tyler Moore Show or Hawaii Five-O.

Volunteers will be asked to check into the Selkirk Recreation Complex by 10 a.m. Sunday. No cameras are allowed.

For more information, or to register as a volunteer extra, email thedoncherrystory@gmail.com, log onto www.thedoncherrystory.com or call 204-784-8173.
