Is your choice of dog giving off a certain status?

Apparently so as found in a study done by a British market research firm, there are very clear differences, dog wise, between people who see them selves as upper or lower class.

Upper for example had Afghan hounds, Welsh corgis and affenpinschers.

AKA the non cuddly high maintenance pups.

While those of so called lower class had labradors, golden retrievers, Rottweilers, border collies and German shepherds.

AKA the cutest dogs ever.

All makes sense, but then where does this dog fit in?
