Will.I.Am Versus...
Superbowl may have been a while back, but I can't help and go back to watch this commercial in awe.
Featuring Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am updating a Pepsi commercial done with Bob Dylan way back when...kind of crazy how advanced we are, yet how similar these times are with those of the 70’s

The Flood: How to Help
Rural Municipality of St. Clements: Call 482-3300 to register.
RM of St. Andrews: Report to the Fire Hall at Main Street and Donald Road and someone there will put you to work. Call 757-4748.
RM of West St. Paul: The RM is also sending volunteers to the St. Andrews Fire Hall.
City of Winnipeg: Most homeowners are fairly well set up, and the city isn't taking volunteers for sandbagging, though that may change if conditions worsen. Call the city's information line at 311 or visit the city's emergency site at www.winnipeg.ca/EmergWeb.
LaSalle Hotel: The Elmwood hotel needs all the help it can get sandbagging. Show up, or call the hotel at 668-5367.

It aired after Gen. Andrew Leslie, the Canadian Forces Chief of Land Staff, told a Senate committee the military would need a one-year break from operations after the mission in Afghanistan winds down in 2011.
Not suprisingly ALOT of people are furious and looking for a way to vent so I encourage you to call and e-mail our friends at FOX with your thoughts

Welcoming the Game of Life to 2009!
Much to my surprise and pleasure, that last one has been updated to be oh so 2009 with a new online version with an option which allows players to enter into SAME-SEX MARRIAGES!
As you can imagine, not everyone is so please with this as I am and possibly you are and with that I say, bluntly, those people need to welcome the present with open arms!
I know The Game of Life came out in 1860 when things like this weren’t even a possible THOUGHT, but ya know, in those 100+ years, people have opened up their eyes just a touch.
Check out the oh so controversial game and download your own copy here.

Top Model CHAOS!
While I’m not too superstitious that number seemed to have a big affect on the wannabe models and in turn the entire day!
Was looking like a normal audition day until the models lined up and KEPT lining up until it pretty well turned into a mob of around 10,000 VERY vicious ladies!
Maybe I shouldn’t classify all of them that way, but seemingly a good chunk of them were when a car broke down on the street in front of the hotel...began spewing smoke...someone shouted that a BOMB had gone off...and from there stilettos and make-up bags went a flying!
Six people were injured; four treated by medics and two were hospitalized, along with 3 arrests on disorderly conduct charges!
One of the wannabe models, who came out scrtach free, observed it all as girls running like it was 9/11 part two and fearing for her life!
Really…all this stemming from an AUDITION?
Maybe I don’t get the whole model thing, but from what I know not many of the winners have gone too far or I just don’t pay enough attention once all the model drama’s done when the show ends.
Either way, check out the chaos for yourself below:

Jack White...Super Human rockstar?
I believe that Jack White does not have the ability to rest.
Rumors floating around about the White Stripes being done and done, but he’s still very much with the Raconteurs and now adding a third band top his roster with The Dead Weather.
A superband of sorts with Jack on vocals and drums, ALISON MOSSHART from bluesy garage rock band The Kills helping on vocals, Raconteurs bassist JACK LAWRENCE and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE keyboardist DEAN FERTITA on guitar.
Debut album Horehound set for release June 9th with two tunes off the album already available on iTunes and mad einto videos which you can check out below (and leave comments).

Wednesday, March 11, 2009
Y'know...I do my best to do things throughout my day that are productive. I get up early, do The Show, come home and try to do things around the house and with my kids...I even help make supper, as long as it's not anything more complex then putting something on a tray and putting it in the oven.
I also waste alot of time on the internet.
I mean....I've got it down to an art form.
I have my go to's. I check them, in a certain OCD-like order mind you, 3....4...10 times a day.
I'm not proud of the amount of time I spend bug-eyed, staring into a computer. I'm starting to look like Mole Man.
I know. Sexy
I wish I could say it's getting better. But it's now much much worse.
Beacause I just joined Twitter.
So now, instead of checking my text messages, email, facebook, tsn, sportsnet, nhl.com, theonion, facebook again, curve943.com, i now check my text messages, twitter, email, facebook, tsn, twitter, sportsnet, nhl.com, theonion, twitter, facebook again, curve943.com, and twitter.
That sound you hear is my eyes crying.
At any rate, follow me on twitter @jayatcurve You can also follow sarah @sarahfromcurve. We'll have updates on what you can expect weekday mornings on The Show.
Happy Twittering.

Very proud to introduce...
When you think of personal preference, in terms of dating boys or girls, you likely narrow that down to just human beings, but apparently, that carries over, very much so, to animals!
Ducks Ben and Jerry out of the UK in specific. Both a part of the Blue duck species, them along with one female named Cherry are seemingly the only ones left and they could easily re-populate the species and keep it going strong.
Side note: one lucky lady!
Or she would be if the two male ducks didn’t choose EACHOTHER!
Nothing official since ducks don’t normally speak, but according to an official at their bird sanctuary they stay together all the time, parade up and down their enclosure and whistle to each other as one might do with a potential mate .
Yup…sounds about right from my experience with HUMANS.
The official continues saying "It would have been nice to get a last clutch of eggs from Cherry, but Ben and Jerry do make a lovely couple."
From my experience with DUCKS and seeing them above, they all look VERY similar, but I’m sure there is quite to “awwww” factor.
And with that I hope this inspires any and all other species holding back to come out!
Dogs, cats, elephants, giraffes…we welcome you!

The Invasion of the SNUGGIE!!
Seemingly a genius invention, despite the fact that they look like some sort of cult attire on most people, that’s not fazing anyone! In fact, people are now venturing out of their homes in them for Snuggie Pub Crawls!
8 have/will happen right until the end of April…these all over the States, one of which in Chicago brought out 120 Sunggie lovers!
Video proof with some unfortunate Snuggie Karaoke:
And with that, I say we plan our own Snuggie outing! Referring to the fact that all have been in the States so far, we need to here more than them!

COWABUNGA!!
With that, the childhood icons are "shell-e-brating" in a big way.
(hahaha wish I could say I made that wicked pun up...but they did.)
So far the Turtles have their own website that includes a blog written by Michelangelo himself, plans include a mobile tour, movie collections coming to DVD and Blu-ray, a video game and more.
Whether you want to admit it...you are a little excited!

Jimmy Fallon: Coming to a TV near you!
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon set to premiere with and guests Robert De Niro and Justin Timberlake, followed by a performance by Van Morrison.
Producer Michael Shoemaker said "I think in the case of Robert De Niro, he had a lot of [talk show] experience and he knows Jimmy well. Jimmy has done skits with De Niro on 'Saturday Night Live' and I think [De Niro] knows Jimmy will take care of him."
As for his guests the rest of the week, we can expect Tuesday: Tina Fey, Jon Bon Jovi and Santigold; Wednesday: Cameron Diaz, Billy Crudup and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah; Thursday: Serena Williams, Donald Trump and Ludacris and Friday: Chace Crawford, Mario Batali and Drew Barrymore
Shoemaker adds, "These [guests] aren't going to be someone Jimmy has never met...it really wasn't for a 'comfort level' thing - he just happens to know amazing people."
As for the show, Fallon's in-house band will be The Roots, and the announcer will be SNL alum Steve Higgins.
Your thoughts on the guests? Jimmy Fallon? The show's possible success/failure as a whole?
