Winnipeg was also gracious enough to be one of the host cities of the Winners Walk of Hope for Ovarian Cancer this past weekend...and I am happy to announce that WE RAISED $79 000 here and more 2.15 MILLION coast to coast!! THANK YOU to everyone who walked and all the volunteers who make this wonderful event happen.

Big thanks to Leslie Malcomson for joining us on the show this morning...She is the spokesperson for the Winnipeg Winners Walk of Hope for Ovarian Cancer, as well as a survivor of the disease herself.

This event is very near to my heart as my mom is currently undergoing treatment for her second recurrence of ovarian cancer. I encourage everyone to inform themselves about this disease...PLEASE do it for your mother, sister, daughter, aunt...you could be saving their life
