Television viewed from contact lenses?

The future is a little scary!

Ian Pearson, a so-called "futurologist", says that televisions could be fitted into contact lenses within ten years. He says channels could be changed by voice or via a wave of the hand and the sets would be powered by the viewer's body heat.

The body heat thing wouldn't work SO well for half the year in Winnipeg...but moving on...

Besides that future "option", "emotional viewing" could be another development in television technology.

In that case, a "digital tattoo" fitted to the viewer would pick up on the feelings of characters on screen and create impulses causing them to feel the same way.

Because enough of us don't get choked up at the sight of someone who's upset already?

I'll sick to my good 'ol regular cable, thank you very much.
